" Candy Candy" is a manga written by Kyoko Mizuki and illustrated by Yumiko Igarashi. The manga had been released by Kodansha and it was adapted into anime television series in 1976 by Toei Animation Co.,Ltd.

But now, we cannot read/watch the manga/anime because of Igarashi's infringement of copyright.

This petition aims to bring back to fans the great manga/anime "Candy Candy."

  To: Yumiko Igarashi

We, the undersigned, call on Yumiko Igarashi to make amends with Kyoko Mizuki for the infringement of copyright regarding Candy Candy.

We also disapprove of your illegal business activities in Taiwan that concern this copyright .

Toei, Kodansha and many fans expect an apology to Kyoko Mizuki in order to heal the wounds that have been opened by your action.

Please allow the fans to give another generation the opportunity to enjoy Candy's story with your reconciliation!

We ask this of you: "SAVE OUR FRECKLED GIRL!"

  "Candy Candy" es un manga escrito por Kyoko Mizuki e ilustrado por Yumiko Igarashi. Este manga habia sudo publicado por Kodansha, y fue adaptado a una serie animada de television por Toei Animation Co. Ltd en 1976.

Pero ahora, no podemos leer o ver el manga o la serie animada por culpa de la violacion de derechos de autor por Yumiko Igarashi.

Esta peticion tiene como objetivo traer de vuelta a todos los fans el gran manga/anime "Candy Candy".

Nosotros, los signatarios, le pedimos a Yumiko Igarashi que enmiende su error con Kyoko Mizuki por la violacion de derechos de autor con respecto a el/la manga/serie Candy Candy.

Tambien estamos en desacuerdo con sus actividades de negocios ilegales en Taiwan que tienen que ver con estos derechos de autor.

Toei, Kodansha y muchos fans esperan una disculpa delante de Kyoko Mizuki, para que asi se curen las heridas dejadas por sus acciones.

Por favor, permitale a los fans darle a otra generacion la oportunidad de disfrutar la historia de Candy, tan solo por medio de su reconciliacion!
