Unfortunately, all Candy Candy books went out of print, because Igarashi Yumiko's swindling. But Candy Candy manga books can be bought at a low price(¥100-¥250) in secondhand bookstores even now.

Legally translated versions of manga:
Hong Kong. (The contract to publish terminated in June 30. 1999.)
France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. (The contracts to publish terminated in 1984.)
Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand. (The contracts to publish terminated in 1996.)

Caution!
The trade paperbacks of 9 volumes and the hardcover books of 5 volumes of Candy Candy which were published by the South Korean publisher in 2000, 2001 are pirate edition. The official books of "Candy Candy " have not published in South Korea.
